So I wore this look to work yesterday and one of my coworkers told me that it reminded them of Rainbow Sherbert..so that's the name of the look! Hope you enjoy! Also, continue to the end of this post to see a preview and explanation of the new weekly look I'm starting!
I started off with my Urban Decay Primer Potion, then I applied a white face cream (the kind for halloween) as my white base and let it dry for a few seconds. I then packed my pink eyeshadow to the inner half of my eyelid, and my blue to the outer half of my lid. I blended them lightly using a back and forth motion (be VERY light with this).in the middle to be sure there wasn't a harsh line in the middle. It turned into a nice purple color. I then took my purple eyeshadow and added it to my crease, being sure to blend it nicely and create the shape that I wanted. I applied my white highlight color then blended it with the purple, adding more purple and continuing to blend as needed. Lastly, I added a light blue shimmer from my Physician's formula palette to my tear duct to open up my eyes. I then filled in my brows and added my gel liner to my lower water line and underneath the lash line on the outer 3rd of my eye. To finish my eye-- I added a couple coats of my mascara.
I then moved onto my face. I started off with my primer, then I applied my foundation. This time I decided to apply it with a wet sponge. I noticed that my brand of foundation tends to dry REALLY quickly, so I thought maybe applying it wet would help it blend out and not set before I had then chance to really blend it. I did notice that it helped, but I don't think I got quite as good of coverage as I normally do, but it did blend a lot easier. I then moved on to applying my blush. I started on the apples of my cheeks and blended it up towards my temples. I didn't do any highlighting or contouring (was in a bit of a hurry--I even forgot my setting powder!). I then sprayed my face makeup with Urban Decay's setting spray. And last I applied my lipstick straight from the tube. I don't like using the setting spray after my lipstick because it makes it feel a bit goopey, so I always I apply my lipstick last.

FREAKY FRIDAY- My new weekly look!
Also wanted to let everyone know that I'm starting a new weekly look! It's called Freaky Friday! So every Friday I'm going to be doing a look that is a bit less wearable then my other looks. It might be a little bit more colorful or more dark, but it'll definitely be a bit freaky! So look for that starting next week. Here's a preview of what my first look will incorporate:

Nerd's Candy!
I had to run some errands today and decided to post my look for today. I've worn this look a couple of times now and I REALLY love it. So I figured I'd give everyone a look!
I started off with Urban Decay's Primer Potion. I then applied a white cream (it's actually that white halloween makeup) to my eyes and let it dry a bit, this stuff actually works REALLY nicely as an eyeshadow base. You MUST use a primer underneath though because it WILL crease on its own. I got the tube for 67 cents, and its gonna last me for a LONG time *score!*. I then took a paddle brush and started to pack on the teal blue (Urban Decay's, Electric). I then worked on the crease using the a mix of the two purples from the Physician's Formula POP Eyez collection (for green eyes). And to blend it out and brighten them up a little I added a mineral eyeshadow from L.A. Colors in Purple. I made sure to blend all these colors nicely. I then added a bit of the light blue shimmery color (from the Physician's Formula palette) to the middle of the lid to add a bit of dimension because the Electric eyeshadow is a matte color. Lastly I just took a white color from my NYX palette as my highlight. I then took my Maybelline gel liner in black to my waterline and set it with the black from my NYX palette. I then took a tiny bit of the light blue eyeshadow again (from the physicians formula palette), and added to my inner eyes (tear duct), and to tone it down I added a bit of the white shimmer from the same pallete to open up the eyes. To add a little bit of flare , I then took the bright green towards the bottom of the palette to line my lower lash line and bring out a wing. To finish off the eyes I added Urban Decay Supercurl mascara and filled in my brows with darkest brown in my NYX palette.
I then got started on my face. First I applied my Hard Candy primer and my foundation over top. I then added blush to the apples of my cheeks. I finished off the face with Urban Decays finishing powder and blended it in with a fluffy brush. And I set all my face make up with Urban Decay's setting spray. Lastly I added a bit of lip color to finish off my entire look! I hope you enjoy it!

NYX Champagne and Caviar 10 Eyeshadow Palette Review
Hi ladies and gents, time for another review! About a month ago I bought the NYX Champagne and Caviar pallete. I wanted a nice neutral palette for work, but didn't want to shell out 50 bucks for the Urban Decay naked palette. So this was the cheapest alternative. I wanted to really give the palette a good *go* before I reviewed it. So I think enough time has passed to give a full review. I will be giving swatches with and without a base, and I may also be giving a few tutorials for some nice daytime looks that I've created with this palette. I just might have to go back and buy some more in the future ;).
I must say though, I absolutely ADORE this palette! There are a few colors that I love more then others, but I can live with that. Cost averages around 10 dollars (plus shipping for me) and for several amazing colors, this is a good buy for your money! I have created so many beautiful daytime looks from this palette. A couple of the matte shadows seem slightly chalky, but again, not TOO terribly bad. I've definitely had worse shadows from the drug store! But some of these colors are amazingly rich and beautiful and they all blend wonderfully too! I'll post some overall swatches then review each of the colors individually. So here ya go:
Pink Paradise!
I've got a new look for you guys again today! I decided to try something fun with a few different shades of pink. I did wear this look to work today- although it might be a bit too bright for some of you out there. But I adore the way it turned out! This look does have a mix of both matte and shimmer..so it has the best of both worlds! I also topped off the look with my new NYC Lipstick which is a beautiful creamy bright pink with just a hint of shimmer! Hope you enjoy!
